WEST ALLIS, Wisconsin – Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA) member and general dentist Dr. Charles Wetzel will visit Elcho Elementary, N11268 Antigo St., this Thursday, May 24, 2007, at 1 p.m. to talk with Adam Kuehl and his classmates about the oral health dangers of using smokeless tobacco as part of this year’s Stamp Out Spit Tobacco Education Program. Academy of General Dentistry Presents Award to North Carolina Dentist

CHICAGO, Illinois – The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) recently launched a Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition (LLSR) program to formally recognize a member’s dedication to remain current in their profession and “give back” to the community. Only 23 of these awards were presented in the US and Canada. Richard R Pence, DDS, MAGD of Denver, NC was presented the LL&S Award on February 17th at the NC AGD Meeting in Cary, NC.
