| The ABO offers a certification program for orthodontists. Certification, which is a voluntary process, provides an extensive review of the orthodontist's basic education, as well as an intensive assessment of the orthodontist's clinical expertise. Upon certification the orthodontist earns the certificate of the Board and the title "Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics". |
